I got down to quest in Desert Town to build Archway for the old man with the frown, but can't figure out how to do this. Have I missed something? There is only two blanks left on my guide and one is the palace. Not sure what the other is. Can you help me here? Thank you.

The archway is not a building, but a building component. It is just a piece built in one of the shops.
