So I could just be crazy or possibly not remembering how it is supposed to work, but I went into the DLC this afternoon and got stuck.

Right after completing the first building, it asks me to rescue a Kefling from a sulphur crystal field. Only I can't harvest the crystals. My workers and my avatar both are unable, and I don't see a pick for it lying around anywhere.

I've encountered a possible issue too. I downloaded the DLC this morning and decided to try it out over lunch. Unfortunately I'm not able to find the aliens at all. Is there a particular place where you find them?

The DLC shows as being downloaded, although the princess stills prompts us to download the DLC from the menu screen.

One possible cause for my issue may be that my daughter originally purchased the game on her account, but I offered to but the DLC with some credits I had on my account. Both accounts are on the same xbox so this shouldn't be an issue, but it's the only answer we've come up with so far.

I can't find a meteor or aliens either, and no clue where I'm supposed to see them despite buying the DLC, loading the game, deleting and re-downloading game and DLC.

Sort of annoying.

Edit: Just realized you can only do it by starting a new game and pressing right to go to a whole new game.

As Swansory mentioned, to play the DLC you must choose the "New Game" option on the main menu. From there you can choose the Alien DLC.

The Princess on the main menu screen is part of marketting the DLC, so it will not go away once the DLC is purchased, it is simply a part of the main menu for the time being.

Alymon, you need to use the T.R. unit (robot) to mine the sulfur crystals. The cinematic should have explained this. Let us know if you have any more issues with this.

I saw it say that in the cut scene, but I just didn't see the TR.

I just purchased the new add on for World of Keflings....It came from outer space....started a new game...went to the right and clicked on the aliens picture....then it froze....will not load it? Help!!!!!!

This is a new one! Does it start loading at all? We are having a common problem with it starting to load and never stopping, which we still can't even get reproduced here.
I'll notify QA, but just answer me this: Is it freezing on the same screen where you choose the DLC, or on the loading screen?

Also a couple of other questions: Were you connected to LIVE when you started the DLC? Was either the DLC or the profile you were playing stored on a MU or USB? Were you trying to start a single player game or a LIVE game when it froze? Thanks!
