Actually we have a fix for this. We are currently in the process of working with Microsoft to release the update. Hopefully soon!

Hey Guys,
The update is live now, if you haven't heard. To get the avatar award from a game you've already won (with the proper points value), just play the last level through again to unlock the award. I'm sorry once again for how long it was in coming.

i am having a problem with my award. i have unlocked it without issue...but i go to check it out and the xbox tells me to update the clothing. i update successfully but the mask remains just an exclaimation symbol and i am unable to wear.
i have tried 3 times; every time it updates the clothes but the mask doesnt seem to update thus leaving me unable to wear it.

I have the exact same problem as RedMessiah - award "unlocks", it's listed as 2/2 unlocked in the Awards section of the Dashboard. Go into the Avatar Editor, requests an update, unusable exclamation point in the Avatar Editor.
Sigh.... Seriously, NinjaBee???

The most we can do is unlock the award. If we call the function to unlock a reward, and the award unlocks, the rest is out of our hands. I'd suggest contacting Microsoft for support.

well it might never be fixed in that case. i know the awards for Deadliest Warrior have been f'd up for a long time(their samurai armour shows up as the thousand nails coat [which is the DLC award] on both the xbox and their site). at least this problem isnt a very serious one because the item is working properly on the xbox website, so it can be equipped and saved through there. here i am with it on:  quite dashing i think, but i dont seem to have an outfit that suits the mask though  the healer mask seems to go with pretty much anything i wear...maybe in your next game you guys could make a cool outfit to go with it for me
