There's an official Game With Developers event this Thursday (Feb 3) at 8pm EST on Xbox LIVE. Jump in to A World of Keflings and play online with the developers (us!) I know this is hard to believe, but we're not complete giant nerds, and sometimes we actually talk to other people. Join our games and ask questions, complain about the game (as if!), try to get us to tell you what the DLC is about, share collectibles, and get those elusive viral emotes, if you don't already have them! Saw the message on the Xbox dashboard and was like woo hoo! Since I missed the one on Dec 26th (darn family...)
Noticed some of the friend lists are already full! Should be an interesting night!

Oh how fun would that be. That requires Gold, though, doesn't it? To join multiplayer games? Well, everyone have lots of fun! Maybe I'll hang out on the boards and live vicariously X D

Yeah, unfortunately, it requires gold. I imagine that's part of why Microsoft has these "game with developer" events. Sorry you won't be joining in, SannaSK. re: full friends lists: Yeah, wow, we got flooded with requests. If you make a request here or mention in a message that you're from the ninjabee forums, we can wade through the chaff and add you. Weird thing: I have a ton of requests from people who have never played even ONE of our games. Really? You want to be on my friends list, even though our game playing habits have almost zero overlap? What the heck? For anyone who has played all of our games, I'll happily kick somebody else to make room for you, my new bestest buddy! /me acts like being on his friends list is somehow extra cool...

haha. well, (re the 'no overlap but friend request'), some people just want the... bragging rights? : o of saying 'hey this game dev dude is totes my friend!' even tho it's really... not.
If I'm hanging around, you think I could send out a few collectibles messages and get some sharing going around? I keep wanting to prettificate my kingdom but I'm ready for new things to use X D.
PS, is it a bug if I can make a collectible that doesn't seem to be mine to share? I don't have the 'ice yeti' highlighted on my collectible-sharing screen, but I can make one in the ice kingdom's building. I can't figure out if that's because my husband's local-only profile (which I think does have the ice yeti available) might have been the one to make the snow collectible building? And now that the building is made, and when he's not signed in, I can make collectibles that I don't have the ability to share? I guess I can see where that sort of makes sense... but then again, if I can build it, I should be able to share it! Maybe? X D
I totally want the ice dragon. How super-cute does that thing look?

Oh, yeah, we can get you all the collectibles right away, if you want, assuming you have a Silver account. A bunch of people in these forums, including me, have all the collectibles and you can get them in one message.
On the other issues you mentioned: Hmm... I'm not sure if that's working correctly or not, but I'm not really concerned about it. It's a little complicated if you've got other local people who were part of the game at one point. Most likely your analysis is perfectly right - it's there because he had it unlocked. But yeah, you can only share stuff you personally have unlocked in your sharing screen.
I like the ice dragon, too. He's also pretty rare, in theory. My personal favorites are:
Ice Kingdom: The Yeti
Forest Kingdom: The topiary dragon pieces
Desert Kingdom: The palm tree

our GT is SannaHoratio X D the avatar is a girl b/c when we first got the xbox, I was planning to play more than my husband would... but then a friend lent him Dragon Age, and that plan changed pretty quick, haha.
I'd sent a couple of collectibles messages to some people who'd posted in the other thread about sharing collectibles, but perhaps they have since retired their Kefling hat... I did not hear back from them. But that's ok! Life moves on.
