The final and unfortunate news is that the avatar award as it stands is unavailable. A bug somehow slipped through the cracks in the last few days of testing. We are incredibly sorry for the error, and for the failure to properly award your Avatar Award. We've been struggling to find any workaround for it, and sadly there really just isn't one. We are working on a fix for this right now. Theres no reason to hold back on playing the game because of it though; Once the fix is implemented, if you were supposed to have the award you won't have to replay the game or anything like that.
Sincerely, -Kevin Pancrazio J. Kenworthy Entertainment

Its unlocked when I click on the game but its not unlocked when I am looking at all my games list. The achievement is for turning the guys to stone and breaking them.

Hey XBL Unreal,
Ancients of Ooga will allow you to re-earn achievements but it requires a fresh start to do it. From the Start Game menu, pick "New Game" and you'll be able to re-earn any achievements that might not have been properly recorded. This won't damage any of your currently recorded Xbox LIVE achievements, it just makes the game forget that it awarded them to you.

-Kevin Pancrazio J. Kenworthy Entertainment. That's awesome. I deleted the game and beat it a second time and it didnt unlock even though it did when I shattered the booli that was turned to stone. I don't have a problem beating the game a third time. Thanks for the fast reply So I will wait for the update unless you are stating it is updated already.

That Avatar Award was pretty cool looking, though. (I know this because u can pick up "The Fireling's Mask" in the game a few times.)

There's a process to everything, and I am sure there's a process to getting the update out. I have full confidence that when they have something tangible they will let everyone know. Even if they don't, we (the community) are rather likely to notice when an update comes out. Especially since they are all automatic...
Point being, rather than sounding like a greedy kid that wants just one more cookie, I think we should show some respect and gratitude to the baker.

The flaw in your reasoning is we are not getting the cookies for free. We paid for them and when you pay for something, most people would like that item to work as intended. I am all for waiting for a fix but I would rather hear we are working on it, then hear nothing.

Of course you're right - we owe you an update. I'll bug Kevin and John again and see how it's going. So, it's like a cookie you bought, and it was a good cookie, and you ate the whole thing, but there was totally a raisin missing and the packaging advertised that raisin and Kevin owes you a raisin, dang it!

I would compare it more to a box of cereal with a prize at the bottom of the box. You want to just pour the cereal out but your parents wont let you. You have to wait to eat all of it to get to the prize. When you finally do, the prize is not there even though it says on the box that everyone has one inside. Sure the cereal was good while it lasted, but you really wanted that prize. :p

It's even worse - for a while we were all "keep digging! it's down there at the bottom!" until it finally became clear that there was no freaking prize after all! Your new metaphor is fair and accurate - I was just trying to stretch the cookie metaphor as far as I could.
