This forum is for discussion about the Xbox Live Arcade game Dash of Destruction.
Dash of Destruction is developed by NinjaBee on behalf of Microsoft and Doritos, and was originally designed by Mike Borland, who won the Doritos Unlock Xbox contest.
Since this project is owned by Microsoft and Doritos, this isn't an official source of information about the game, but there's been some interest in a forum here, so we've created this one for general unofficial discussion about the game.

How much of a role did you guys play in this? Doritos arranged the contest. BlockDot did the websites and contest site and the game prototypes for the finalists. Mike Borland came up with the original concept and worked with us on fleshing it out. NinjaBee did all the development on the full game and remaining design work. Microsoft did project management, support, release. VMC did testing The info on the contest and some info on the game is at unlockxbox.com. I'm a little hesitant to talk about it too much before it's released, but that should be soonish.

Yeah, it was exactly like tha.... HEY! Wait a second!
Actually, the final design is a mix of input from Mike, us, and about four thousand people at Microsoft. Fortunately, everyone has the best interests of the game in mind, and I think the results are good.
The original concept is still Mike's, and I don't think we strayed too far from that. Of course, there were a lot of decisions to make along the way, but I think he's pretty happy with the results, as we are.

You mean that Doritos isn't an officially recognized currency? Crap! <Runs to tell wife to cancel trip to Hawaii and the custom Ferrari order>
