We're working on a title update for Outpost Kaloki X.
Here are the level times we're planning on fixing:
(Adventure Story, time remaining)

Level 2 9,45 8,00
Level 3 9,30 7,30
Level 4 14,50 8,30
Level 5 10,00 8,30
Level 6 12,00 8,00
Level 7 10,00 7,00
Level 8 13,00 10,00
Level 9 14,00 9,00
Level 10 17,00 14,00
Level 11 6,15 5,00
Level 12 13,00 9,30
Level 13 28,00 23,00
Level 14 2,00 1,00
Eight-Port Challenge (time elapsed)
gold: 1:00:00 (1 hour)
silver: 1:30:00
The Crucible (time elapsed)
gold: 1:20:00
silver: 1:45:00
edit: fixed 9->19 typo.

Haha...
I apologize for (a) the delay, and (b) the lack of communication from us on this issue. Also, don't get too excited, it will definitely be a while, and we can't promise a date. More testing and certification and whatnot...

I promise not to get too excited.
Luckily, now that I *know* that it's happening I can play Clyde in peace.
BTW, are those times definite, or under discussion?

These times were the subject of detailed research and thoughtful study, during which marmosetofdeath ran some random number generators.
Seriously, though, we did think it through, but if you have a complaint to make about these numbers, now would be the right time. We won't be changing the total (bronze) time on any levels, only the gold and silver times.

Er, its been awhile since I played Adventure Story, but for levels 2 and 3, is there really a 12 minute and 6 minute gap between gold and silver?

Are the times for level 14 correct? I forget the level TBH, but that seems really short in terms of gold medal time .

@adamjday: Yeah, those times are right. Remember that's "time remaining", and level 14 is really hard, so basically you have to do it just barely under the maximum time to get silver and gold.
@Zee: Yeah, unfortunately the game won't hand out achievements when you first start it up after the title update is applied. You'll have to re-play the level. The same sort-of goes for getting the Adventure Story gold achievement. If you didn't actually get awarded a gold medal on a level before, you'll have to play that level (and any others you didn't get gold for) again, and then play the last level (14) again. At least, that's the current plan, which might change...

LMAO
Seriously, this is one of the many reasons that I love supporting NinjaBee. Humor about the job *and* humor in the games. Keep it coming!
I'm now encouraged to go back and play the game again but let me get something straight. If I have (according to the *new* times) done well enough to get the Gold Medals will it automatically give me the achievement or do I have to replicate my (as of the update) Gold Medal time to unlock it?
Do I have to replay *every* level? (Thought I'd ask even though I will have to anyway to get to Level 14, unless I have a save, which I might...)
Too bad you can't add a 0 (zero) point achievement for "Waited Patiently for Title Update". The picture could be a the NinjaBee giving a sheepish shrug and the subtitle/description would be "Suffered untold pains waiting to achieve perfection in OKX without whining, moaning, or generally complaining to the NinjaBees." And then no one could get it...

Haha, great idea on the new 0-point achievement...
OK, so keep in mind that it's not done, but here's the plan:
In the Adventure Story: If you were actually awarded a gold medal (i.e. you got a gold medal according to the OLD broken gold medal times) then you won't have to get gold again in that particular level. You will have to replay any levels the game didn't give you a gold medal on, even if you have a good enough time according to the new times. And finally you'll have to play level 14 again to finish the campaign. That's when the game checks for the adventure story gold medal achievement.
At least, that's the current plan. It might change a bit.
You could write down your times (as posted on leaderboards) and compare them to the times posted in this thread:
http://www.ninjabee.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=39
Then you'll know what gold medals you already have. Of course, you can't jump around to any level in the story, you have to play from the start or from a saved game, but at least you can play quickly through the levels you already have gold on.
On the other hand, I'm sure we'll get complaints from people who claim to have gotten gold everywhere and didn't get the achievement, so playing through the 14 levels and getting gold in every one one at a time might still be the safest option.
