First, sorry if I alienated you with my post. Not my intention *at all*. I would've loved to have your map included (if for no other reason than the word of mouth on your maps being so great).

I know your situation sucks. And I'm sorry that everything conspired against you entering this contest, but stay has already basically confirmed that there can and will be more contests for BoB. I look forward to all of the cool new ideas you show (after all, this entry was only 1 of your many maps).

And truly, I'm thrilled that you found us here and that you've been such a great addition to the community. So, I hope that I haven't put you off so much that you won't come back and dazzle us with more maps and keep AC91 in his place (as your servant).

Judging by the rate in which this one is going, the next contest should be in 2 months?

Even still, it would probably be a strategy based event on a ranked match...something that obviously doesn't interest anyone with my caliber skill as far as level design is concerned.

Are the authors of the three top maps being privately notified, or are the results just not in yet? There isn't much time left...

Yeah (master?) Kaeporo, don't feel bad about it. It isn't like you are losing anything by this.

I hope the next one is a versus match tournament, because I will take you all out!

Which is what I dislike about it. I know I would get owned because I spend more time on spider hunter and making maps then I do playing against other people.

In fact, the map I entered into the contest was playtested around 35 times with AI and other player feedback. Be glad I was disqualified.

Sorry - some dorks from the city cut through our internet and phone lines with a backhoe this morning, so I've been out of the loop for most of the day. Give me just a few minutes to tally up the votes. I'm leaving Sunnycool out, since he didn't send me anything.

I'm going to try to stay on Live as much as I can over the weekend, so if any of you finalists have any time to share your map with me, just add "Abbasax" on your friendlist and send me a message. I should be on most of the night Friday, and most of the day Sunday. Saturday, unfortunately I'm going to be pretty busy but I'll try to be on as much as I can. Not more then 20 minutes ago I got the first one in but I'm still waiting for the others. I've sent out friend requests to the finalists so I'm just waiting for our free times to sync up so I can get a copy of them (copies of the maps I mean, not the finalists).
