OK, this isn't so much an interview as a hands-on review of features shown at the GDC:

Yeah...i posted that Xbox360Fanboy preview in a seperate thread. Good stuff.

So, wait. This time you decided to keep interviews and previews/reviews seperate and you started with an interview thread...and now you're posting a preview in the interview thread?  Just teasin' ya! (I'm sure I'll pay for my teasing karmic-ly when I have to edit the 8 bajillion reviews into one post for Band of Bugs...)

Haha, sorry. We can always rename the thread. :)

How would you prefer it? Separate interviews/reviews threads? One thread for all articles?

No, I was totally digging the idea of having a "Preview/review" thread and an "interview/etc." thread. I think those two categories are different enough to warrant their own thread and also make it easy for people to find exactly what type of Band of Bugs info they are looking for at the time.

Wait...was I supposed to be proactive and set these up? Oops.

I wasn't depending on you to set them up, no. :)

We can set up a preview/review thread as soon as we have a few, then, and delete the preview I posted here.

I would think preview and interview could be together, since the are both trying to give us more of an idea about the game itself (except for the interviews about NinjaBee). Either way, it doesn't matter to me.

This interview makes me mad... they have great looking screenshots, but no way to enlarge them within the browser! No Lunar Duality style link-friendly picture!

The imposed sound-ON advertisements on the side of the page also kinda suck. :(

In any case, the pictures are the same ones posted here:

http://www.greatgamesexperiment.com/game/bandofbugs

And you can see the high-res versions there.

It's the standard set of 3 images I think we'll be giving interviewers before the game launches, but there will be some unique ones here and there.

The second images looks like a cool spell effect!

On the map editor, how are those bugs supposed to attack each other? Ranged attacks? Can all of those bugs fly? Is the map not done?

I assume the bug with the wings can fly, and he probably wants to take out the scarecrow. Just because he can.

Some bugs can fly over water and other obstacles (such as the Rogue...which is mosquito-like).

I think in that particular map setup, bugs are expected to either use ranged attacks or slog across the lava (which they can do, but they suffer damage for each step).

regarding: GreatGameSexperiment - I know! I think the same thing every time I see that name. :) I keep wondering if they did it on purpose. :)

Yeah, I hadn't seen that Lava map...so much to see, so little time...*sigh*

As for the "sexperiment"...I'll bet it does wonders for their search engine hits!
