Well I can't speak for Lunar but the achievements about beating a campaign with the controller and all the one's where you're supposed to use the controller too are stupid. What's the point? That's not fun. The fun thing about the game is that you feel like a rock star playing the guitar. And you've also got the ones like "win 20 ranked matches in a row" or whatever - I hate those but I hate ranked play so whatever.

YaZeus speaks the truth. I glitched for that beat-career-hard-or-expert-with-controller achievement. Sorry for my language (although censored), but **** that. I NEVER want to use the regular controller. I like my Xplorer and I'm sticking with it forever.
Anyway, I just beat Expert last night. Man that was satisfying! I have come a very long way since I first put up this thread. It is interesting to read back on the posts I made about my progress to see how far I truly have gotten. I am also right on the edge of getting 5 stars on all Hard songs. All that remains is Raining Blood and my top score is about 10,000 away from getting it.

Speaking of Aerosmith, anyone considering buying the all-Aerosmith GH? I don't know if I know/like enough Aerosmith songs to want to make such a purchase. Impressive, though, for them as a band that they have enough songs to make an entire game of just their songs. I wonder how well it will sell?

I heard the game will not have the usual order of songs. Something arond 30-40 total, although that is not confirmed so it could be wrong. It is also going to be the standard $60, and if the amount of songs is correct, that is not worth it at all.
I don't even like the two songs they have had in GH2 and GH3 anyway, and Dream On is so boring and repetitive. A purchase in the future of GH: Aerosmith isn't looking good for me.

Well, to each his own. I wish I was you, actually, because then I might want to buy GH: Aerosmith and it is always good to have some new songs to play.
My top favorite songs to both listen to and play (but mainly play) are definitely The Trooper from GH2, Bark at the Moon from GH1, and Lay Down from GH3. But the all-time favorite goes to The Trooper by far. Something about the chart makes me smile so much playing it. I have never had that much fun playing a song before.
I really wish more songs could embrace what that one had.

So, I passed my first song on EXPERT last night. Granted, it was Surrender (the first song in the first play list) on GHII and I had to rely on star power to survive, but I passed and I was happy! Considering I've never even played a song on HARD, I was pretty stoked!  _________________

I didn't really like Guitar Hero 3 as much. I found that often (especially when activating star power) the game would stutter and cause me to lose my streak.
The track list was great though.
