Are we going to have another Outpost Kaloki X situation where the top players are using some kind of glitch, maybe making it impossible for us to catch up. I know now it is probably too late to fix, since the top leaderboard people (Game Master even admitted it) are using some kind of glitch. Is this a big deal (like minutes off) or is it just a couple seconds that maybe us great people could take down without a glitch.

The only thing I know about (and I haven't even tried to replicate it, so who even knows...) adds tens of thousands of points...not hundreds of thousands. The Co-op thing is really where it's at if you wanna get your score up. That's my understanding though and I was left WAY behind on this stuff from Day #1.

There is the extra clyde glitch, which Gamemaster admitted adds up to 60k points. It seems there are levels that allow you to finish earlier, also admitted by Gamemaster. I am happy at #10. I have not glitched, and played co-op with only one person. I am in no rush to copy those fools at #1-9. Though, If I did play co-op with 3 other skilled players, I could probably get #9 or #8.

Yeah, and I know Lunar could use the 60k right now (it would put you over 10 mil).
Hmm, I wonder if the extra Clyde glitch is by saving 3 extra Clydes in a level by doing co-op. If so it would be exactly 60k points. That has to be it.
40 levels, times 1.5k for extra clydes = 60k

That's pretty much how the glitch works from my limited experimenting. Gamemaster said in one of the xbox.com topics that the game records the highest number of clones put into the vents during a mission, in the course of explaining why I've experienced the number of rescued clones decreasing when I've accidently sent some into a vent.
When 4 people are playing there are three extra clones in play, so by putting all but one into the vent you get the rescued count up 3 higher than normal. After this you can pull out the extras and they still count as rescued. For some reason they also count if you exit the the main menu instead of finishing the level.

I thought that you could save the clone and have the last person exit to win the level. Why would you need to pull out the last people?

The level doesn't end unless all players exit through the teleporter, at least in the local co-op. I've haven't played a co-op game on live, so perhaps its different there.

I guess it is the same on Live. On co-op, is the level time recorded that of the first person in the portal or the last?

Quoted from GameMaster on the Xbox forums -
"There are a two different glitches. One that works on all levels with rescuing clones and allows you to get 1,500 extra per level, making 60,000 total, and another wall glitch that allows you to travel through walls on certain levels to get right to, or near the exit. The wall glitch only works on 6 or so levels (not sure of the exact amount), and probably totals 200,000+ extra points. So, together, you can get nearly 300,000, or more, extra."
300,000 points equals a good 5 minutes. So it seems now that 1st place is only reasonable with glitching, unless you find a legit way to shave off 5 minutes off, along with the rest to get up there. The only level confirmed that there is a wall glitch is level 23, which doesn't help you on score as much as co-op. I am going to try and see if I can find how to do this. (For all who want to know, NO I am not cheating, just researching. I will not use glitches for my score. If I ever resort to them for leaderboard, it will be AFTER I do co-op)

Don't worry, I won't judge you.
Glitching is fun IMHO...as long as you don't get so serious about it (and the leaderboard)...Personally, have the #1 overall score on Clyde is unimportant to me as long as I have a blast playing.
Ironic, that coming from someone in the "Pro" gamerzone, right?

Yeah, and ironic that I am so concerned and I am in the Recreation zone lol.
I like glitching in things like Halo, and glitching to where it doesn't effect times, but considering him and his group of 4 (all the top four players) are keeping it to themselves so they won't lose their spot is sad. If Game Master and his people didn't glitch, then they wouldn't be in the top spot.
By the way, I checked out level 23, and it isn't really a glitch at all. You know when you go through the drains then it shoots you up. Well you can fly up there from the beggining (look up when you start) even though it takes longer to do it that way. I think that also makes that level the only one where you don't have to kill a bot to beat it.

After this you can pull out the extras and they still count as rescued. For some reason they also count if you exit the the main menu instead of finishing the level. You hit the nail right on the head there. I suppose I will just go all out and say exactly what to do: Rescue all cones but 5 (4 controlled by players, one uncontrolled near the exit or anywhere else in the level). Have all players stand in front of any clone exit and press up. They will go in one by one until the count for clones rescued is up by 3. One person in the vent needs to grab the 5th clone left somewhere on the level while the other 3 players get their clones from the vent. This will make the clone count appear even (3/3, for example). After exiting it would appear as 6/3 since that was the highest number in the level at any given time during that play, as somebody quoted me in here. AC91 wrote: Is this a big deal (like minutes off) or is it just a couple seconds that maybe us great people could take down without a glitch. Oh yes, it is a big deal. It shaves a good amount of minutes off. Since I last said something in the xbox.com forums, saying that it can give you 300,000+, a couple of new levels were found out for the wall glitch. It definitely gives a good 400,000 or so now. AC91 wrote: The only level confirmed that there is a wall glitch is level 23, which doesn't help you on score as much as co-op. If I ever resort to them for leaderboard, it will be AFTER I do co-op) Sure, level 23 has the glitch, but it doesn't help at all with getting a faster time. I have tried it. Level 6 has one to skip right to the end. I will leave it at that and let you guys go hunting for it. Once you find it, you will know what to do to find it on the other levels. AC91 wrote: but considering him and his group of 4 (all the top four players) are keeping it to themselves so they won't lose their spot is sad. If Game Master and his people didn't glitch, then they wouldn't be in the top spot. Well, I just let go of a bit of information that can easily lead to you finding it. There you go. Also, if we didn't glitch, anti and the gang would be above us because they did glitch. We had no choice. In fact, they were the ones who did it first, then we found out from them how to do it ourselves. AC91 wrote: By the way, I checked out level 23, and it isn't really a glitch at all. That is not the glitch I was talking about. Here's a good clue: look in the drains. But, as I said, it does not help with anything, so it isn't worth even finding. Still a cool little thing, though.
Whew, that was a lot to respond to.

OK, I do now know how to do it, but am not going to do anymore unless I am a good 500,000 or so away from the glitching people.
The level 6 glitch goes like this. In co-op, one player grabs another, and throws them up, through the wall, where they kill the last bot, and let the clones down so people can exit. I am almost ashamed I did it with anti and gravity, but I will not do anymore, because I kind of want to see my real score. I don't know the exacts on throwing, but it is where the thing drops a bit, so a giant clyde's head would sort of clip the top of the ceiling. It is right by the beggining on the left. I have a feeling this works on a lot of levels, but I am just doing normal co-op for now.
