If I finished adventure mode, and now want to go back and try for gold medals, is it possible to select which chapter I want to do? Or do I have to start from chapter 1 get the gold and then go on to 2, 3 ,4 etc? If it's possible to select chapters out of order, how do I do it?

There is currently no way to select levels like that. The only way you can really go back is if you have a save point to a certain level, and you can restart that level from the beginning. To get gold, your just going to have to play through it again most likely.
Maybe in OKX2 there will be a level select screen, or a set of rooms like in Cloning Clyde.
