lol - thank you
Actually, carefully cycling the repair on and off when not needed apparently works just fine to get good scores. It's a little more work, granted, but some people like to drive manual transmission in their video games too
I don't know if the glitch will actually help the time any, but I know that I really had to wrack my brain to figure out how everyone got such unbelieveable times -- That is really one of the great things about this game: there are a lot of variables, just enough so that there isn't just one formula or one recipe to do great on a level, but not so many that you are completely overwhelmed with options.
(of course I am going to see if it helps tho )

Congrats on those times...
Indeed, the repair glitch is sometimes a bother on some levels. Can't remember how it fits (or doesnt') in Crucible but congrats nonetheless.
I remember the "good 'ol days" when I had 13 #1s on the OKX leadboards...*sigh*

I remember that time too -- You had so many that I thought that you (and EmperorNivek) were the testers for ninjaBee. Even now, generally speaking, if I beat your score I am done for that level.
I ran the crucible again last night (get 100k during an asteroid storm on a three level city), and found that if I really tried, it only brought my elapsed time down from 32:45 to 32:38. With the constant bombardment of asteroids, I think that having the bots running around all the time just might not be as useful as on other levels.
One thing that I did notice after reading about this subject is that there really are little bots running around that you can see - and until I actually zoomed in and looked for them, I never noticed before. This game is still just too cool.
BTW, I have searched for leaderboards for Kaloki on the net and the forums, but have not found any. Are these only available through the XBOX leaderboard function? (If not, that's fine, I probably don't want to know just how far I have to go to get to the top of some of them.)

Yeah, OKX Leaderboards are only available through Xbox Live.

it would be great to look at leaderboards on the internet that not just show how many achievements you got in the game

Thanks for fixing this. Although since Gears just came out, I don't know when I'll get around to getting those achievments.
