Thanks for the feedback everyone. I'm wondering if anyone has tried to have a one of profiles that aren't working join a local multiplayer session? And if so, are they able to join that normally?

Hi Jeyefunk. I just tried with my wife's account and it joined fine. After that, I logged out of mine and signed in with hers and tried with just her account again thinking maybe that may have kick-started hers to working with the DLC. No such luck. It still gets hung up on the load screen when it's on its own.

ATTN: To all those having problems with the loading screen

I seem to have found a temporary solution to the issue.
Use an account that can access the game and start a new game with the DLC.
Then join that game in multiplayer with the gamertag you want to use.
Once in, sign out with the first tag that started the game.
Save the game with the gamertag that is now still within the game
Back out and restart. You will be able to get in without any problems.

Now, I can't guarantee that you'll earn the extra 3 achievements but at least you'll be able to play it for now. My wife is playing right now. I'll post if she earns one of those 3.

And achievements can be earned using my above method.

We're very happy you have found a work around for this infinite loading issue. If anyone else is experiencing difficulties with this work around or has any questions please let us know. We'll keep looking for the cause and a fix, but for now hopefully this will help out most of those with the problem.

UPDATE: Endless Loading Screen

A solution has not yet been found, but there is the workaround mentioned above. However, we have now had reports of DLC suddenly working for those whom were experiencing the endless loading bug previously.
This player did 2 things between the bug causing troubles and no longer giving them problems:
1: Played the original "Tale of Three Kingdoms" game for a while.
2: Altered their Avatar.

An Avatar issue has been one of our suspicions, and I was hoping that perhaps one (or more) of you still experiencing the endless loading wouldn't mind testing this out for us. To do so simply go change what your Avatar is wearing, making sure they aren't wearing any purchased clothing or items, and then attempt to load the Alien DLC once again.
If you're able to try this out please get back to us and let us know of the result. Thanks, all of you, for your patience and help with providing information, and once again we apologize for this issue.

My son's account has no purchased clothing or items on it (just standard stuff available) and he still gets the loading page.

The purchased items may not be an issue, but have you tried to at least change his Avatar's clothing, or size? Again, this may not be the key, but with our testers still unable to reproduce the issue we're depending on users experiencing the problem to help us out. We really appreciate the help and info you've all given us.

I've tried playing Kingdom (for a few minutes) and then changed a few obvious things on my avatar (without ever having purchased items on it either way) and still get stuck in the loading screen. You guys rock and definitely willing to help. Hope you squish this bug soon.

I've downloaded the new Dlc after i finally was able to get the gaints gift but it doesnt come up it went to ch8 relaxin and nothing but when i go to the ice kingdom it says return to the forest one but when i go to the forest it just tells me enjoy customizing ur kingdom.

To access the DLC you start a new game and select the DLC, rather than loading a previous game.

Ok. So I've played Kingdom for two hours plus and I've made significant changes to my avatar. And I still get stuck on the load screen. After going through all my friends I've found one that can finally get in. I've started my game off of that save file I joined. Now, I don't know if this has anything to do with things but I will ocassionally get an error message about my save file not being there or being corrupt, but it loads and plays fine... Except for the initial load screen issue. And I've had that before I even downloaded the new content. Thanks, onyx62is, for supplying a way to finally play this game.

I have been unable to play utilizing any of the above tips. Please help this is frustrating.
