A Rab1d Turkey wrote: *sigh* any progress yet? ANY????? As a beginning programmer I know how hard it can be to debug a program, even debugging something as simple as a text based game can be difficult, depending on the extent of the code. While J. Kenworthy, as stated, is trying to fix the issue there is no obligation, aside from customer satisfaction, to do so. Many companies do not even make attempts to release updates and even fewer provide freebies such as avatar awards and gamer pictures. I appreciate the work that NinjaBee, J. Kenworthy, and related companies have devoted into creating and maintaining quality games. Unless you are willing to devote the time and money into creating the update yourself, then attempting to relay it past Microsoft, please stop complaining for the sake of everyone that reads this forum.

Thank you.
Yes, there's progress, but nothing worth mentioning. It's in the hands of MS, but it's a long process, and I'm afraid this is not exactly the top priority for some people.
I'm not sure what else to do but keep saying "I'm sorry" and "We're working on it."
I'm sorry.
We're working on it.
If don't reply to queries about progress, please assume it means "I'm sorry" and also "We're working on it."

To release a product and take a customers money. To offer content in said product that does not perform the way it is suppose to is the problem. You can't expect to stay in business if you never plan on keeping your customers happy. I am not doubting it takes time or energy to fix something. But there is no need to come off with that type of attitude. Word of mouth plays a big part in whether a game is a success or not.

Hey sweet over reaction there! I'm impressed. It felt a bit forced though so you may want to work on your delivery.
No one is here to kiss anyone's ass or here or to flame anyone's business practices. Stuff happens.
Anyway, you are both right just in some instances to lesser degrees of intensity.
The game is not broken. The game is fun. It feels like a complete experience. I'd say word of mouth won't be much of issue as far as hurting sales goes.

We at J. Kenworthy Entertainment/Baconwrapped Games are doing what we can to push this fix through. We do understand that our relationship with the community relies on supporting our work no matter what the sales figures are and the people who have bought this game are vitally important to us (and I'd say that applies doubly to a game with low sales figures) and we're sorry if you are disappointed. Unfortunately, getting the fix out there depends on powers outside of just us.
We are also sorry that the delays are frustrating. We share that frustration. We will continue to follow up every chance we get to try to make sure it doesn't further fall through the cracks. I guess its fair to say that we're in the same boat as you now, waiting to hear when we can give you your fire masks.

Yes, customer satisfaction is beneficial in sustaining a business, I acknowledged the fact earlier. However, I see no point in complaining when a business has acknowledged an issue and is taking steps to correct it. If you come across another company that refuses to make an attempt, then yes, complain ahead. As far as "kissing ass" goes, that was not my goal. insultobot wrote: The game is not broken. Some progress, yes. We finally got some traction at Microsoft (*sigh*), got somebody to look at the update, and we have to make some small changes and resubmit...

I don't even care about the avatar award. I am still waiting for the achievement glitch to be worked out like I originally mentioned.

XBL Unreal- have you tried recovering your gamertag? That fixed the achievement problem for me. Any new news on the avatar award? I looking forward to my Fireling's Mask...
