They just posted this info on the NinjaBee facebook page: June 16 for 800 MS Points
Glad to see NinjaeBee is not jumping on the $15 arcade game bandwagon. And it's coming out during E3: that week can not come soon enough!

Hey guys, speaking of the E3 week launch...
I'm pretty worried about releasing that week. So many people talking about so many other games... So, if you like the game, please tell your friends!
Spread the word!
Thanks!

I would like to state that it is Microsoft that decide when games get released on Xbox Live Arcade, not NinjaBee... so you can't really blame NinjaBee, unless the game had a bug in it that required the game to be delayed... in that case, yes you can blame NinjaBee.
Why Microsoft delayed the release is uncertain. There may have been major bugs that needed immediate fixing, they may have thought that releasing a game right when they're having a big Arcade sale would be a bad idea, they may hate us, they might've been taxed getting E3 content up, Major Nelson of course was at E3 and his lack of presence might have contributed, they just forgot, they might've held back the release to integrate Kinect...
I really doubt it's Kinect, it's probably the Arcade sale.

Sorry about not posting about this sooner. Yep, the release date was moved back to June 30. We tried to announce the change, but it didn't really get covered by the media because everyone was so focused on E3. Here's the info from the press release:
The upcoming action-packed, slightly cannibalistic, Xbox LIVE Arcade platformer, Ancients of Ooga, which was set to release on Wednesday June 16, has been rescheduled for June 30.
The game's developers, J. Kenworthy Entertainment and NinjaBee, said an opportunity arose to move the release date back by two weeks and they accepted. The previously scheduled release date of June 16 is the second day of E3 2010.
"We put every effort into making Ancients of Ooga as fun and high quality as we possibly could," said John Nielson, founder of J. Kenworthy Entertainment. "We feel confident that people are going to love it when they try it and it would be such a shame for it to disappear amongst the chaos of the E3 excitement without anyone ever having a chance to see it. The two week wait seemed an obvious right choice."
Anyway, sorry about the delay. We'll be releasing a new trailer for the game this week though! I'll make sure to post a link here in the forums.
